Due to unforseen circumstances August's session on the 25th will no longer go ahead.

Permit me to moot an idea. :)

Shoot me down in flames by all means!

I've tried to get my son, 23 years old, Direct access A1 license holder, interested in IAM and joining SAM. Similarly, my partner Susan (55 years old, full car license since 18 years old, on about the third CBT, done two theory tests, first expired  failed the swerve test in style twice) would really, really benefit, from this MD&C day.

Obviously Su can't take up IAM (On a motorcycle at least) until she has passed her bike test.

My son could join if so inclined.

So, how about a 'Bring along a friend?' I realise that SAM's insurance conditions may negate the possibility, but if they don't, then maybe it could be considered? Not least in creating interest and awareness, and may lead to signing new members?

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I've not been around long.

Cheers! Jim :D :D :D

Jim

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll raise it at the forthcoming Senior Observers meeting.

Sorry for the late reply Geoff, I missed this one.

At the time of writing the September date is still going ahead. If you could check back here 1-2 weeks before the event, and then contact the Observer running it please.
